DJI O4 85mm 2S 47.6 g Open-prop Sold out

Open-prop 2S toothpick with a full DJI O4 air unit — outdoor HD cruising, not indoor whoop flying

No ELRS-flyable configuration currently in stock at a verified vendor.

The Flybee 20 HD O4 puts a full DJI O4 air unit on the 2-inch, 85mm open-prop Flybee airframe: a 47.6g 2S toothpick-style that is essentially a ductless FlyLens 85, aimed at outdoor HD cruising with notably better flight time than its 1.6-inch sibling.

The full story

The build pairs a full DJI O4 air unit and camera with Flywoo's GOKU F405 HD 1-2S V2 (STM32F405, ICM42688P gyro) on a 2-inch carbon X-frame, with the camera on a 3-point shock-absorbing platform to reduce jello. ROBO 1003 14800KV motors — the same as the Flybee 16 — swing much larger Gemfan 2015 bi-blade props, which is where the extra efficiency comes from.

It is an open-prop pusher, not a whoop: exposed props favor efficiency, speed, and quiet at the cost of indoor and around-people safety, and the low-slung pusher props complicate takeoffs, landings, and turtle-mode recovery. Flywoo quotes 5:30 on a 2S 550mAh and 7:30 on a 750mAh.

The control link is a choice of three: a serial () 2.4GHz receiver that updates through the ExpressLRS Configurator, a DJI option that binds directly to a DJI radio through the O4 air unit, or a TBS Crossfire build. A 'Drone Kit (without O4)' variant is also sold — that is a PNP airframe with no video system, not a flyable configuration.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Full DJI O4 air unit for native 1080p60 digital HD, on a shock-absorbing camera platform tuned to reduce jello
  • 2-inch props on the same weight as the Flybee 16 give notably better efficiency and flight time
  • Serial (UART) ExpressLRS 2.4GHz option that updates via the ExpressLRS Configurator, plus DJI-radio PNP and TBS Crossfire choices
Show all 5 pros
  • Runs standard XT30 2S packs and ships with TPU mounts, spare props, a UV filter, and tools
  • Light for a digital HD 2-inch — essentially a ductless FlyLens 85 over 20g lighter

Cons

  • No ducts and fully exposed props make it a poor choice for indoor flying or flying near people
  • Low-slung pusher props sit close to the ground, complicating takeoffs, landings, and turtle-mode flips
  • Carrying the O4 air unit on a light toothpick leaves little crash headroom
Show all 6 cons
  • Requires DJI goggles for the O4 feed; not compatible with analog or goggles
  • 85mm with open 2-inch props needs more room than a true ducted whoop
  • Complete O4 configurations sell out often; the in-stock 'Drone Kit (without O4)' variant is not flyable
